About The Course
Engineering Course: Duration is 4 years. The course is divided into eight semesters, each of six months duration of which the first two semesters are combined. Students will have to appear for the first University examination at the end of the 2nd semester, in April. Thereafter, they will have to appear for a University examination (theory and practical) at the end of every semester i.e., in April and December.

Electronics and Communication Engineering graduates find opportunities in the Terrestrial and extra terrestrial communication systems like telephones, cellular phones, television, optical fiber communication, consumer and entertainment devices where most of them need electronics. Electronics graduates find jobs in the space programs in Satellites etc.

Electronics Lab
The Lab has an excellent collection of basic components in all ranges for conducting in all ranges for conducting practicals. 60 cathode ray oscilloscope of different MHz range are available in the lab. It also consist of different trainer kits for study experiments and function generators and power supplies.
Microprocessor & Integrated Circuits Lab
The lab has 8085 kits, 8086 kits and Z-80 kits with power supplies. The lab HAS A GOOD COLLECTION OF add-on cards for interfacing. Simulators, analog and digital IC trainers of 10 BIT and 20 BIT are also available. To work on this all the necessary digital and linear ICs are available.This lad gives a helping hand for promising students in the fast growing technology.
Communication Lab
The Communication lab has been equipped with function generators, counters and AM-FM generators. Student can practise different types of modulation and demodulation techniques. The lab includes T.V. and radio demonstration kits and optical fiber, Transmitter and Receiver kits and analog and digital mode. UHF, VHF antennas with parabolic reflector are available to support these transmitters and receivers. Digital signal processing kit with image processing facility is available.
Micro Wave Lab
Microwave lab comprises of Bench setup with Klystron, Gunndiode, VSWR meter, alternator, Magic-T, isolators, circulators directional coupler and all the supporting accessories. This lab helps the student in understanding the latest trends in microwave technology.
The ECE Association
YEES-Yong electronics engineers society of association formed by the ECE department in the year of 2003. Was mainly to motivate the students to get involved in various activities and get exposed to the latest trends in the engineering Fields.
More than 20 seminars has been conducted in various latest emerging trends in embedded system, mobile communication,GPS, Energy management etc., and also in personal development all these seminars are conducted by eminent and skillful personalities it has also conducted a national level technical symposium as per the feed back of the student the association as helped them to exposed their hidden activities to self improve the careers and also how to carry out them self as an engineers.
In the forth coming year YEES association as planed to conduct some workshop paper presentation and technical exhibition to make the students inculcate their knowledge periodically.
